Deadbolt

Deadbolts are stronger than most vintage travel trailer or RV locks. And a deadbolt can add an extra layer of security to make sure your door doesn’t fly open during travel.

This brushed stainless steel deadbolt has a key on the outside and a wing nut twist style lock on the inside.

It fits doors 1-3/8″ to 1-3/4″ thick. It has a 2-3/8″ backset and a 1″ throw. Bolt is only 1/2″ wide. However, for this to work on your door, you must be able to drill a hole 15/16″ diameter in edge of door for the bolt assembly.

NOTE: This deadbolt allows for a 2-3/8″ backset ONLY. The instructions that come inside the deadbolt package refer to an adjustable backset, but they are wrong. Please contact us in advance if you are looking for a deadbolt for any backset other than 2-3/8″.
