Bargman L-77 Latchbolt

This replacement latchbolt may help save your precious L-77A lock.  Bargman L-77 locks were used on vintage trailers in the late 1950s and early 1960s.  They are recognizable by a tall orientation, rather than a square or more landscape horizontal profile.

This bolt looks something like the latch bolt used on Bargman L-100, Bargman L-200 and Chesler T-5 locks but it does not fit those locks. It only fits Bargman L-77A locks.

Latch Bolt dimensions are:

• 2-11/16″ overall length
• 1-7/8″ overall width

Milled from aircraft grade aluminum billet.  Then carefully finished to leave a smooth, attractive finish. 

No instructions are included but it is a fairly straightforward project.  Pease take your new bolt and your lock to a locksmith if you are not confident you can install it yourself.  We offer several other parts for this lockset, including exterior handles, handle springs and pivot pins, and a new cylinder with keys.
