This is the bayonet that is unique to the vintage Thetford sewer hose system. The prongs are a different spacing than the modern Valterra standard seen on late model trailers.

This bayonet is made of ABS (not PVC) and has a 3.5″ ID to allow it to be solvent welded around the end of a 3″ ID ABS pipe or spigot.

It allows connection of any Thetford pronged adapter like these:

  • Thetford Curved Hose End
  • Thetford Straight Hose End
  • Thetford Adapter to Threaded 3″ Waste Line

And you will need one of these two caps for it:

  • Thetford Cap with Garden Hose Connection
  • Thetford Standard Cap
