One of the great advantages of using quick-connect PEX fittings, like our Aqualock fittings, is that you don’t need to invest in specialized tools.

Although you can cut PEX pipe with a regular knife, we strongly recommend buying this inexpensive metal tool to help you make easy straight cuts.  Straight cuts are essential for a water tight connection in the fitting.

Excellent for 1/2″ or smaller PEX piping, but can be used for plastic tubing up to 5/8″.
