Aluminum Roof Vent Pipe Cover – Vintage Style

Cast aluminum plumbing vent pipe covers were first used on Airstreams and some Argosy trailers in the 1970s.  We have reproduced this beautiful vintage version for a faithful old school look.

It’s a good substitute for any trailer where you will be installing the vent pipe cover on a pitch or curved roof. 

Your 1-1/2″ ABS pipe comes up through the roof. 

Use with VTS-1075 rubber gasket sold separately. Also, we recommend using a 4″ x 5″ square piece of aluminum insect screen domed over the top of your pipe and tucked into this stack cover.

This cap is usually installed with six VTS-179 Olympic rivets.

On the interior, we’ve marked the two weep holes which should be kept clear of caulk when installing.  

Dimensions:

• Base is 4-5/8″ x 4-1/4″
• Opening tapers at top to 2-3/8″ x 1-3/8″
• Height is 1-3/4″ on shorter side and 2-3/8″ on taller side
